FAQs

Will Edenbrooke be made into a movie?

Maybe someday! I don’t own the movie rights to my book, so I don’t have any control over it. But as of right now there’s no movie talk.

What’s the home Henry and Kate are returning to at the end of Blackmoore?

Whatever you want it to be. It could be Blackmoore, or it could be their own home they bought with Henry’s earnings. I wanted to leave it up to you, the reader, to decide what YOU think would give them a happy ending. There’s no wrong answer.

Will you ever finish Heir to Edenbrooke from Philip’s perspective?

I loved sharing Philip’s perspective as he meets Marianne! Since my publisher is not interested in publishing the rest of this story, I WILL NOT BE FINISHING HEIR TO EDENBROOKE. The decision is out of my control. But thank you for wanting to know more!

Why haven’t you published a new novel lately?

I have discovered as my kids have reached their young adult years that they’re leaving the nest much more quickly than I like. I don’t want to waste any of my remaining time with them immersed in daydreams. I’m not good at easily navigating the portals between the real world and the world of my books. I tend to get stuck in my book world and miss out on the real world experiences. So I’m not writing during this season of my life. But I hope to return to it someday.

How can I get a signed copy of one of your books?

Check out my “books” page on this website, and you’ll see a link to my favorite independent bookstore.

Where can I find the book Lost in Scotland?

Lost in Scotland was a book I began in 2016 but never finished due to life circumstances. Now it will never be finished due to legal circumstances. So even if you see a cover of it floating around on the internet, it doesn’t exist.
